About Andra Light
VIRTUAL SESSIONS NOW BEING OFFERED: $50/hour. I am responding to the COVID-19 situation by expanding our ways to connect. While virtual sessions do not include touch, the therapeutic values of intimacy, healthy boundaries, and a willingness to open up to one another still thrive on video. Think of this as an adult version of show-and-tell. What are you doing to stay sane? Let’s do it together! What someone to eat a meal with? Let’s have a virtual picnic!
I invite you to start our video sessions with a short guided meditation, but past that point, the options are endless. We can do art together, get to know each other, offer tips to stay healthy, stretch, or just breathe in connection with each other. Let’s find what nourishes both of us.
I offer video calls through WhatsApp, Zoom, and Facebook Messenger. I accept payment through Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp. Message me for more details.
As the founder of Touch to Save the World and the author of four books, I am dedicated to providing authentic connection in a healing environment.
While cuddling presents an excellent way to recover from trauma and rediscover your sense of self, touching another person should also be fun. Designed as a platonic play space, cuddle sessions bring out the best in people as they each explore what they like and don’t like about touch.
Since diving into body work, tantra, energy work, and acupressure, I have cultivated a touch strategy that trains your ability to experience pleasure through platonic touch and awakens sensations that lay dormant in your body. As I’ve said before, cuddling is all the afterglow with none of the mess.
The culture we live in creates unprecedented levels of touch deprivation, and I want to change that one cuddle session at a time. By empowering clients to listen to both their own bodies and someone’s else body, everyone leaves the session better equipped for future friendships and relationships full of nourishing touch.
With my background in psychology, I want to offer the introduction into touch that most of us never had. Trust that when you come to my private cuddle space in SW Portland, I will guide you through touch exploration in a way that sets you immediately at ease as we do only what both of us want to do together.
I look forward to the opportunity to share my vulnerability with you.
(Discounts available for self-identified women, LGBTQIA+, POC, neurodivergent individuals, and other Cuddlists upon request.)
Session information from Andra Light
Once you submit a request, we can either meet first in a public place or you can come directly to my community house in SW Portland (97219) where there is plenty of street parking. Take off your shoes and make yourself comfortable in the private lounge space piled with blankets and set up just for you. We start with payment (cash preferred, other methods available upon request) and move into the opening agreement and a discussion about boundaries. It’s important that both of us check in with our bodies about what we each want and feel confident saying “no” if something begins to feel uncomfortable.
After that, I’ll give you time to change into your pajamas or gym shorts before we enter into a short breathing exercise that invites you to be curious about your body. If touch is comfortable at this point, we might hug or hold hands. If not, we can go at the pace comfortable for you.
Once you orient yourself to the space, I let you guide the session, prompting you to listen for what your body needs and wants. I am a very engaged and athletic cuddler and enjoy caressing your hair while you hold the small of my back, for instance, or curling my leg around yours while moving it gently up and down. These slow, methodical movements enhance sensitivity and sensation, leaving you with the warmth of intimacy even inside platonic engagement.
I book cuddle appointments between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on any day of the week. While I prefer to meet in my private cuddle space in SW Portland, I am willing to negotiate outcalls for an additional fee (fee waived for people with disabilities).
To meet out in public first, I charge half my regular rate.
I accept same-day appointments for a $40 rush fee.
While my cuddle space is private with its own bathroom, the larger household does have cats. If you have a cat allergy and live in the greater Portland area, I will waive my travel fees to come to you.
Tips are optional but appreciated.
Any no-shows or appointments canceled with less than 24 hours advance notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
Your session begins at the time scheduled or when you arrive, whichever is earlier.
