When I discovered cuddle events several years ago, I knew I had found an important part of my life.  I always feel so wonderful and connected after an experience of being so present with someone. I want to share that feeling.  I am caring, patient, a good listener, and have a warm and calming presence to those around me.  I have completed two professional cuddle therapy trainings in 2022-2023.

First cuddle session?  No problem!  I will talk with you beforehand about how a session goes and answer any questions you may have.  In the beginning of a session, we check in and talk about what you hope to get out of a session and have some warm up exercises for us to relax and get comfortable.  This can include some gentle movement or relaxation exercises. In the cuddle session, you set the pace – there is no pressure to do anything other than what is most comfortable.  The experience often makes people feel connected, relaxed, and a natural high of oxytocin the “hug hormone.”  People also report better sleep and other positive effects in the days following a session.

I am a health professional with 15 years of experience in education, facilitation, and communication.  Over the last three years, I have taken workshops to practice being present, holding space, and truly connecting with others. I have personal experience with long-term health conditions, chronic pain, and the usual stresses in life.  So I feel that I can bring that empathy to others that are going through challenges, am sensitive to any accommodations you may need, and provide a presence that is compassionate and healing.
