Session information from Madelon
When I receive your request I celebrate the leap you are taking in exploring new ways to meet your valid human need for healthy connection! I send you an email within 24 hours with more information about how to schedule with me and the best way to contact me with questions and concerns.
I conduct my sessions on my (huge!) cuddle couch. I light candles and play Pandora (your artist requests or preference for silence are welcomed). We begin by creating a comfortable consensual communication agreement and allow individual preferences to guide us from there. In addition to cuddling I focus on empowering my clients to identify and speak their wants and needs. Cuddling can be cozy personal growth work! My goal is always to support you in the next step toward more satisfying connections in the rest of your life-especially with yourself.
Logistics and other details:
I have a cat who lives with me (in case you have allergies) but he will not be in our cuddle space. I am located near the intersection of Western and Belmont Avenues near Avondale and Roscoe Village. I’m accessible by public transit. Parking is free and I will provide you with a permit for your windshield. I have stairs in my location and am not handicap accessible. I rarely do outcall sessions. When I do I charge $40/hour for travel time with a one hour minimum. I also generally schedule about a week in advance on average. It is very unlikely I will be available for a same day session request. I collect payment either in cash at the beginning of each session or in advance online via Chase QuickPay or PayPal.
I ask all clients to take the initiative to confirm with me the day before their scheduled session at which time I provide them with location details. If you confirm with me and then need to cancel after that I ask for a minimum of 50% payment for the cancelled session time or a prompt rescheduling of the session. Your commitment to your own self care is important to me. If you cancel last minute or do not show up for our confirmed appointment I ask for full payment. My time and attention is valuable to me. Your gestures of respect are invaluable.
