Hi I’m Michael!
I’m an educator, gardener, certified massage therapist, and trained Cuddlist. With bachelors and masters degrees in music education and a certification in massage therapy, I have spent over 10 years working with people and helping them get comfortable in their voices and in their bodies.
Caring for your body is important, and sometimes that means fine tuning with deep and technical massage work. But after some time, I noticed that folks often reach out for massage work when what they really need is simply touch. Cuddle Therapy allows for you to ask for that need to be met in a safe, respectful, and consent-centered space.
Whether you desire someone to be present to simply sip tea and be a listener, or really just need a good cuddle from someone who is centering your needs, this is a great place to start!
Session information from Michael B
Cuddle sessions take place in a small private studio on the second story of a well-maintained commercial building which is shared by a dance school. Since it is an old building that was built before ADA accommodations, clients with mobility limitations may request sessions be held at an out-call location.
Sessions include a relaxing music playlist (suggestions encouraged), free herbal tea, and an interactive consent agreement. The activities that take place in the session are an outflow of the consent agreement and are fully client-led.
While the room is fully outfitted for massage therapy, massage treatment must be purchased separately.
Clients must remain clothed at all times and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Sessions may be terminated at any time, without reimbursement, if clients fail to meet that standard.
