"Alone, I go faster. Together, we go farther." - African Proverb

Welcome! My name is Ilona (ee-LO-na) Globa, and I'm a Certified Platonic Touch Therapy and Reiki Biofield Healing Practitioner. I am Certified in Holy Fire Reiki, Level 2.

I’m a compassionate, sensitive, curious person, and I have always felt we are more connected to each other than we realize. Leaning into that connection can help us thrive on a personal and on a collective level. I'm excited to provide cuddling and compassionate conversation to help my fellow community members!

*When you enter my therapeutic space, the session is for you, and it is about you.*

My cuddling and human connection coaching sessions will help you feel more balanced within your body, develop your sense of psychological safety, and empower you to express your wants and needs honestly and authentically.

As we build our therapeutic relationship, I will help you to discover any subconscious or unconscious thought patterns that may be limiting you; the ways we protected ourselves in the past, or even continue to do so in the present, which may be stagnating our growth and potential.

We would be a good pairing for cuddle therapy if you experience one or more of the following:

*If you're looking for a relaxing platonic touch experience as a (scientifically proven) form of self-care and full-body relaxation

*If you're working to improve your body image and your relationship with your body

*If you've been single for an extended period of time, and find yourself experiencing anxiety and depression, leading to a sense of disconnection with yourself, or unease around connecting with new people

*If you struggle with people-pleasing, or find yourself repeatedly putting your needs last, only to feel taken for granted

*If you would benefit from a mothering or maternal presence or energy, potentially to help heal a mother wound

*If you have a hard time expressing your needs or desires, perhaps due to a fear of judgement, or feel like an outsider due to not “fitting the mold”

*If you are neurodivergent, and want to feel more equilibrium in your mind and body

*If you are recovering from a major break-up, divorce, or loss of a loved one, and wish to have a supportive space to process your grief

*If you come from a background of traumatic experience, be it in childhood or more recently, and are seeking a trauma-informed healing environment to process the emotions that may come up

*If you are already doing healing work, such as talk therapy, somatic therapy, EMDR, etc., and wish to incorporate other healing modalities that support your nervous system.

*Cuddlist is currenly working on website improvements. Please use the shortened request form here, and I will follow up with the full intake form via email. Thanks for your understanding!

After you submit the form indicating your interest in working with me, I will follow up via email to schedule a time for our 20- to 40-minute intake call. Please note, there is a $40 fee to book this call. No-shows will not be refunded the fee, so please advise if you need to reschedule.

For guidance, you can choose from one of the following paths for your session:

* The Self-Care Session - an emphasis on touch (as much, or as little, as you are comfortable with); nervous system relaxation and co-regulation; connecting with and appreciating our body and all it does for us

* The Personal Growth & Development Session - a blend of cuddle/touch therapy and talk, with the discussion focusing on inner growth or self-development, practice of setting boundaries and healthy expression of needs and desires

* The Trauma Processing Session - a trauma-informed approach to healing, ideally for those also doing talk therapy, CBT, EMDR, etc.; here, we’ll mindfully and intentionally delve into creating safety in the body, and exploring inner child connection, rebuilding trust in the self and the world.

I also offer virtual cuddle therapy sessions, where I will hold a safe space for you to be yourself via video call, in case you are unable to meet in person.
